Biography
Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and after graduating from Princeton High School, Amanda went on to attend Kent State University where she was a member of the women's golf team. Amanda graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and moved to Los Angeles, California in 2006. Amanda has a love for learning and a drive to take on challenges and try new things. While living in LA, she worked in television, radio, fashion, real estate and currently works in finance as a portfolio administrator at Howard Capital Management Group. Amanda relocated with her husband Anthony, daughter Adalynn, and their 3 rescue cats, Miss Mittens, Lynx and Sunny to Fort Myers, Florida in 2023 to be closer to her family.
Determined to get back in shape and do more to give back to her community, Amanda started her platform, Fit With A Purpose at the beginning of 2018. Fit With A Purpose aims to create an all-inclusive community that encourages others to set their own health, fitness and service goals. Leading by example, Amanda serves as a team captain for many charitable walks and runs throughout the year, encouraging others to give back and raise awareness while also getting up and moving. Some of organizations she supports are Susan G. Komen, Make A Wish Foundation, United Way, Alzheimer’s Association and the Didi Hersch Suicide Prevention Center.
